[The Smell of Summer Seashells]

I really like the mood of the song. I do feel like I'm near the sea.

I think the melody could be a little louder.
I would try to be careful with the ''scratching noise'' that happens when you change chord. Maybe it has something with the way you recorded the guitar?

Other than that, Great song!
Makes me want to light up a fire and watch the sun dive into the ocean.

Thanks for your response! And yes, the scratching noises were a bit intentional because usually when you're listening to a live performance, you can hear the scraping of the neck - just a sort of warm idea I had when I recorded it. Also on a less conceptual note is I just grabbed an old acoustic and sat in the studio right by the mic to record it. Thanks for your input on the melody, I've been thinking the same thing!
